Prescriber services allows you to select your services that require a face-to-face consultation with a prescriber before the clients appointment.
When clients book in one of these selected services, on their confirmation they will receive a message to say that a face to face is required and to book this in. If not, their appointment date may be changed.
It's a legal requirement that any prescription-only medicine (POM) in the UK is carried out by a qualified medical prescriber (e.g. a doctor, dentist, nurse prescriber, or pharmacist prescriber) to assess the client before any treatment takes place.
The prescriber must carry out a consultation directly with the client — either in person or via secure video call — to review medical history, assess suitability, and issue a prescription tailored to that individual.
